Oakley Wood differs in many important ways from other green burial sites. Our sit is set in existing ancient woodland, home to a wide variety of wildlife and woodland plants, reinforcing the concept of the renewal of life. To ensure a truly wild and organic setting we do not use headstones, flowers or any above ground memorials. Instead you may come to reflect in tranquil surroundings in the knowledge that nature is truly taking its course
